These guys are for real. Green Fourteen did an AMAZING job at our wedding in February! Music was the most important part of my wedding day so I did my research to find the right band for our wedding and Green Fourteen was the right choice. Patrick and his team performed perfectly at our reception and I have received tons of compliments from our guests on how good the band was. Almost every guest said that the band was the best wedding band they've ever heard. Patrick is VERY organized and responsive which helps put any nervous jitters for brides to rest. The band does a great job of playing classic songs that get everyone on the dance floor to the newer/popular songs. I was literally on the dance floor all night. I highly recommend Green Fourteen for your wedding!

My husband and I would highly recommend Patrick and Green Fourteen to anyone looking to have a band at an event! From the initial point of contact to our wedding day, the responsiveness was on point. Patrick was great to work with, incredibly friendly and full of energy! He seemed genuinely interested in making our wedding day the best day of our lives! He was incredibly helpful when planning our reception from the start to finish. We left a lot of the music choices up to him and we could not have been more pleased! We received tons of compliments on the band's performance and continue to get compliments! Each band member was fantastic! Besides being good artists, they were fun and engaging to our wedding guests. We cannot say enough about the band and if we ever consider a band for any event in the future, we will definitely use Patrick and Green Fourteen again!

Best. Band. Ever. From Motown to 80s to today, they played every song that makes you want to get up and dance. The energy of the band members is infectious. At one point, they had our wedding guests circling us with their hands in the air, everyone singing at the tops of theirlungs... it was my favorite moment of the night. The band leader Patrick is AMAZING. An orchestra all his own. He's an event planner, MC, and right-hand man all in one. He worked with my day-of coordinator to make sure we had everything we needed and more. He's a joy to know as a human let alone have at your wedding. More than a few dozen times, my guests told me they were the best wedding band they'd ever heard. I'm so so grateful they played at mine.

Patrick and Green Fourteen are now are family. From the first time you talk to Patrick it's wonderful. He sends information that covers all bases and arranges for the couple to watch them in action as soon as is possible. After 18 months of planning Being the Mother of thebride Patrick had everything from the ceremony music , set up , emceeing with his great warmth was so calming. Our guest's comments were oh my gosh the entertainment is/was the most fun they had in years. 86 year old Aunt was on the dance floor all night. As was the other 200 Guest's including baby's in arms of loved ones and all other ages having the time of their life. Patrick also checked in with myself and Father of the Bride several times during afternoon and night to see if there was anything we needed even if it wasn't his responsibility. His crew were warm and friendly and went out of their way also to entire wedding guests. Five star entertainment were other comments. When they were setting up outdoor ceremony equipment you didn't even notice the equipment and the sound even outdoor's was so clear. 200 guests could hear made comments on how great it was to hear everything from processional music to that Revered was fun. Thank you Patrick. This isn't just dancing. This is top notch entertainment with a built in family feel. Warm ,energetic, Funny, and professional. His personality is always fun as is his musicians and amazing voices. One of the Earth, Wind and Fire songs if you closed your eyes you thought it was them. Love you Green Fourteen. Barb G.

Patrick was a gem to work with during his extremely busy season. He drove to Joliet to meet us half way to personally discuss his role as master of ceremonies for the reception, and we planned everything down to the minute. The extremely talented musicians poured their energy into the evening and created a memorable event for all guests, especially the bride and groom. We requested the largest dance floor available, and we found it full of all generations celebrating for 3.5 hours. Thank you Green Fourteen!

My daughter was married 3 weeks ago and Green Fourteen traveled from Chicago to Omaha for the celebration. And indeed it was quite the celebration. Green Fourteen is an amazing band and Patrick is a fabulous MC and very easy to work with. ALL our guests were on the dance floor ALL night having the time of their lives. The music was better than I imagined. I couldn't have been more pleased. I highly recommend this group of extremely talented men and women.

Green Fourteen recently played at a Fundraising event I attended. They were the highlight of the evening. I've never seen a dance floor so packed! I highly recommend booking this band for your wedding - or any event! They are so much fun!

Talent, professionalism and fun. Yes, those three words summed up my experience with Green Fourteen. I was so happy that my best friend, Elizabeth ending up choosing to go with this band. I recently attended a wedding of a friend in Chicago that featured Green Fourteen. This band set the tone for the entire night - they were so fun and had no problem getting the party started! I would recommend them to all brides.

This is the greatest band ever! They are so fun and energetic. They have a great range. From top 40, to oldies to slow jams, you name it. Will definitely use them in the future and refer them to friends! They really have a good time on stage and allow guests to have a fantastictime as well.

As the chair of a non-profit organization's Gala, my mind was at ease throughout the evening when it came to the entertainment! Patrick was great to work with from beginning to end. He was flexible with regards to load-in and set-up times. He and the band adjusted their set list based on the flow of the event and energy of the crowd. They were friendly, professional and FUN!!! Our guests loved them! And didn't want to leave the dance floor!!! We are thrilled to have them signed again for 2017!!!!

I honestly cannot speak highly enough about Patrick and Green Fourteen. Patrick was very responsive, professional and truly cared about our wedding and making it unique to us and our vision of the day. He's practically a second wedding coordinator, which we loved, being thetype A people that we are. He was in tune with the minute-by-minute of the day and made sure we were on schedule with music cues, bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc. The band members are all wonderful people with crazy vocal range to sing anything and everything you love. They appealed to ALL ages at our wedding and we are still receiving compliments to this day about how great our band is. (My husband's great aunt was dancing on the stage!) I also work with a non-profit and we book Green Fourteen for our annual gala. The guests have been RAVING about the band and how they escalated our event to the next level. I'm a professional Event Planner, so working with professional, responsive vendors with my best interests in mind is extremely important to me. Overall, I just felt very comfortable working with Patrick and (in the words of our wedding guests) our special day was "truly epic" in part due to Green Fourteen.

These guys were amazing. They played something like 3 and 1/2 hours straight with no breaks!!! Unbelievable! Great mix of slower stuff and more upbeat, high energy songs. The dance floor was packed all night!

Green Fourteen was the best band at any wedding I've been to. The dance floor was packed the entire night and I spent the next day texting with other guests about the whole wedding, with much of the conversation around the music and dancing!

Can I please give more than 5 stars?!?!?! PLEASE?!?! Patrick and the whole Green 14 Team was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal!!! The energy they brought to our wedding night was irreplaceable, and I am so grateful that we chose this band to be with us on our special day. They played for 3 hours straight with no break, had the dance floor PACKED the entire time, and had the crowd singing and dancing all night long. There wasn't a single lull!! By the end of the night, the whole band felt like family, especially Patrick, who was by our side from the second we booked to the second the Green 14 van drove away. For the entire 16 months or so since we booked Green 14 Patrick responded within 24 hours to EVERY email, and responded with enthusiasm and excitement which made us even more enthusiastic and excited, and did everything in his power to make our every wish come true!! He is so knowledgable, professional, and kind, there is no one else we would have rather worked with. THANK YOU PATRICK and thank you to all the wonderful musicians of Green 14 who made our wedding reception in Milwaukee THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Cannot say enough great things about this band. We just had them play at our wedding on 6/17/16 and they were phenomenal. The overdelivered right from the start. From our first meeting with Patrick up until the last song of the night, me and my husband were made to feel comfortable. They really listened to what we had in mind for our wedding and made it happen. I honestly couldn't be happier with our choice of wedding band. We received numerous compliments on the band throughout the night as our guests were equally as impressed with their performance. They kept the dance floor going from song one. I would highly recommend Green Fourteen for any occasion, but especially a wedding if you are looking for a band who plays a variety of music and keeps you and your guests dancing the night away. I am so happy we decided to let Green Fourteen be a part of our special day.

High recommendations for this orchestra! We used Green Fourteen for our wedding, and what drew us to them was that there is only one band with no substitutions. The band we auditioned was the band that did our wedding. We got to work directly with Patrick to plan all our details and song list. We had several unique song selections and the band learned them perfectly. Everything was just great. The singers are amazing and we felt so comfortable knowing that Patrick had everything under control and was really there for us. I cannot give them a higher recommendation.

This band is GREAT! We loved working direct with Patrick. He helped guide us along so that we felt comfortable with what arrangement we chose and how the flow of the night would be. He takes care of everything and keeps the stress off of you! Honestly, you can’t appreciate thatuntil after its all over. The process of booking this band was just simple and fun for us. The thing we loved best about them was the huge variety of songs they had choose from. They could play just about anything and the brass section was great. Nothing but positive things to say about this band. Thrilled with them. Patrick, you are the man!

I cannot say enough positive things about this amazing band! The sound, the song range, the service. My wife and I (and importantly, our guests) were thrilled with everything they brought to the table. Everyone commented on what a fun wedding reception it was. We would choose them again in a heartbeat. In planning for our wedding, Patrick was great to work with. He made it very easy for us to let him know what kind of music we liked without painstakingly choosing every song for the night. The choices are extensive with a ton of variety and a great mix of old and new. Everyone was dancing all night, and truthfully with the songs played, it would be hard to NOT dance! Thanks guys!

Our most ORGANIZED vendor! We did our homework and searched for the right band and found Green Fourteen. We were able to see them at another wedding before signing our contract which was GREAT. I highly recommend seeing your band in action before signing the dotted line. It will surely put all of your fears to rest on the band or dj thing. Green Fourteen KILLED IT! As far as all the details are concerned, I always wanted everything to be in its place and go just right obviously and Patrick was our needle in the haystack. ORGANIZED, ORGANIZED, ORGANIZED! We noticed his enthusiasm right away, and more importantly his attention to detail & our needs. We really didn’t have any reservations on the reception and the flow of the evening...and it went absolutely perfect. Patrick took care of everything. Professional in every sense of the word. The biggest compliment we've gotten from our wedding was "Oh my gosh, that BAND!!" That pretty much sums up the night. Everyone loved them and the two of us didn’t leave the dance floor. Thank you for the fabulous wedding! From the start, Patrick put all of our concerns to rest. We met with him a couple of times, and he was really great at putting things together. The entire process was highly professional, and was tailored to what we were looking for. We have to tell you, this band played such a huge part in our very successful day. We had a great time and our guests can't stop talking about the band. Patrick is also a wonderful host. He takes into account all the special things you want for your wedding and puts them all together for a customized personal experience. He also helps you create a timeline and basically makes sure everything happens when it is supposed to. Weddings can get crazy even if you plan for them not to be, and Patrick was consistently the person we could count on to be organized and two steps ahead. The band was great in encouraging guests to dance and have a good time. Patrick also surprised us by adding complimentary members to the band. It was a total surprise to us and we are so appreciative of that. Thank you again Patrick! We were floored by the amount of energy the band brought to the night. The GREEN TEAM is truly is the best of both worlds. My husband wanted a DJ and I wanted a band so this was the PERFECT compromise. I HIGHLY recommend them, they sound EXACTLY like the artists who actually sing the songs. Patrick was receptive to our thoughts and concerns. He also emailed me plenty of times and was quick to respond to any questions that I had prior to our day. They were able to take several of our requests without hesitation. The singers learned Adele's version of "Make You Feel My Love" for our first dance and the music was great. They worked the crowd very well and the male vocalist came onto the dance floor to show us a few Michael Jackson moves, they were so much fun. There wasn't a moment at our reception that people weren't dancing and fully entertained. It's such a great feeling to hear everyone say the band you hired was amazing! I cannot stress this enough - Green Fourteen was absolutely out of this world FANTASTIC. Our single best splurge when planning our wedding was the band. They were recommended to us from a coworker and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Our wedding day was about 95 degrees, sticky, humid, and everything was outside. I was convinced that the heat was going to deter people from wanting to go out on the dance floor. I could not have been more wrong! Green Fourteen got people up out of their seats after dinner and they danced ALL NIGHT LONG! I have never seen so many people just thoroughly enjoying themselves. We also loved how the singers would give shout outs to our flower girls and ring bearer and even got my wife on stage singing and dancing! The planning process was also very smooth. Patrick was always available for questions and was flexible with our payment schedule. They also did our lighting which was fantastic. The hall wanted an arm and a leg but the band lit up the whole tent with our colors at no added cost. You will not be disappointed!!! They are worth every penny spent. Fun Fun Fun! Green Fourteen is a TERRIFIC band. We did a lot of research and we LOVE THESE GUYS and GIRLS! They are talented, they learn songs for you and respond well to your crowd. The band gets into it and puts on a very tasteful show. The bands songs have a mix of classics and current pop hits that set the exact tone we wanted for our guests. The pacing of the songs and their MC-ing was excellent. They also look good on stage and the female singers have amazing voices! People danced like crazy at our wedding! This band made our wedding a PARTY! Patrick is easy to work with, super responsive and detailed.

Green Fourteen was absolutely amazing at our wedding! It was one of the best decisions we made. For me, choosing the perfect band was the most critical decision for the entire wedding, it was even more important than our venue! For starters, Patrick is simply amazing. He is the consummate professional and does his utmost to understand all of the details for the big day so that everything works seamlessly. We had so many special requests and Patrick honored every single one of them with sincere commitment. If you want to host a wedding where the guests are literally so busy dancing they can’t be bothered to eat or drink, this is your band! Everyone was on their feet the entire night! Even family friends of ours who NEVER dance were working it on the dance floor. I only stepped off the dance floor once throughout the whole night, and that was just to go to the bathroom. My husband and I even got on stage and danced it out with the band! If I could only recommend one of my wedding vendors, Green Fourteen would be it!

WOW!! Did we hit the jackpot with this band for our wedding! We had heard from our venue director that they were highly recommended, and after looking at their website and listening to some demos, and they fit the bill perfectly. They literally can do any style of music youwould like, and they do it all so well! Very flexible and professional, but most importantly...they are SO MUCH FUN! Our guests could not stop raving about our band. Patrick was VERY thorough during the planning process and was very organized and pleasant to work with. Green Fourteen performed at our daughter's wedding. They were amazing to say the least. I have never attended a wedding reception where guests started dancing before the meal but the music was just too good to stay seated. Everyone danced from the beginning of the reception until the end. Our guests really enjoyed themselves. The band is extremely talented, Patrick was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

I was extremely excited when my best friend asked me to be her maid of honor and we couldn't wait for the day to arrive. She and her husband chose this band Green Fourteen. I can honestly say that from the moment we arrived on site for the ceremony pictures until the end of the night, Green Fourteen and Patrick were there at every minute to see that my bestie and her husband had the incredible day they had dreamed of. Classic live cocktail and dinner music all the way to the introductions of the bridal party & toasts. Everything was done flawlessly. The band even checked in to see that the bride, groom and family members had drinks during dinner! I have been through this and wished I would have known about Green Fourteen when we were getting married. Everything was extremely professional. When the live band started there was not a couple sitting in the room. The band played about 3 and a half hours without a single break. They did a perfect mix of songs that kept every generation dancing all night long. Green Fourteen is the entire package, a class act. Highly recommended!

Green Fourteen did a fantastic job! They were professional, funny, friendly, and very accommodating. Overall we had a great experience. Our ceremony music was beautiful and Ave Maria (my wife’s favorite) was fantastic. Patrick met with us 2 weeks before to practice the ceremony songs and even offered to include the keyboard at our ceremony for no extra charge since our ceremony and reception were in the same spot. At first, we were a little nervous about hiring a live band because handing over a song list and letting them do their job takes a lot of trust, but Patrick delivered above and beyond. The music at the reception was terrific and truly set the tone for the evening. Not only did they sound fantastic, but they played a wide variety of music that kept people of all ages on the dance floor all night long. Simply put the band was AMAZING!!!!!!!! So many of our guests connected with the band immediately. Patrick was amazing to work with up to the wedding and loved having him as our familiar face on the stage. His suggestions were spot on and they kept the dance floor full of energy and nobody wanted to leave. They made our wedding stand out among any other that our family and friends had been to. In terms of pricing, they were also more reasonably priced than all other bands we looked at in Chicago. This band is as good as it gets for a wedding. If you want your guests to dance, Green Fourteen can make it happen. We wholeheartedly recommend!

Fantastic Dance Music

We found Green Thirteen on the Knot. Patrick was really great at making sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. He invited us to come see the band live and we loved the set! They were exactly as advertised and totally professional. The bands presentation is impressive. For starters, everyone in the band is good looking and their attire is sharp. Less than a week after we secured our contract, Patrick suggested we meet at our space to go over details to take out some of the butterflies. Instantly we all felt very secure about our day. He even worked with our overall band budget so that we could invest in a larger dance floor! Seriously!!!! When planning a wedding, there are a lot of stressors that the couple encounters along the way, and I've got to say that hiring and working with Patrick was so easy from the start. We chose the perfect balance of classic dance titles, eighties & top 40. Patrick offered suggestions of songs that he knew would get the crowd to respond, and after listening to our input of the songs that we had to have, we put together the perfect list of music that we thought would work. The group is very interactive and there were many times when the singers were actually in the crowd. Everyone loved what they brought to the party. There's nothing better than having your guests come up to you at the end of the night with huge smiles on their faces, saying, "This is the best band I have ever heard". If you want an amazing reception with the best range of music and see everyone you love on the dance floor at once, then this is your band. They MADE our wedding reception exactly what we hoped it would be. We cannot say enough good things about Patrick. Great singers, dancers, choreography and musicians. TOTAL perfect band package!

I had an amazing wedding in Minneapolis this past summer and this band was hands down our best wedding decision. At first, my parents thought their image was a little ‘pop’ for everyone, but we convinced them that it would work out great. The band is totally professional and had a lot of extra videos that we showed them at weddings to calm their nerves. Take it from two very satisfied newlyweds, they rocked it at our wedding! They also paid special attention to my parents older group without losing touch with our group. Its a magical combination needed to make everyone happy. They are very reasonable in price considering the number of performers and quality. We priced out orchestra options that were over 3x's the package we chose. With a slight travel charge, they were at the upper end of our budget, but well worth it! Patrick was easy going during the planning process, professional, friendly, and even took time to learn songs that were not on their already huge music list. We told them a few songs that we didn’t want played and the parents picked some special songs to start the night with. Their covers of songs were great and the energy they brought to the party was amazing! The set list was well-planned in terms of the timing of those certain songs earlier and later in the night. They were energetic, fun and kept the party going. All of the musicians were professional, classy, and had an incredible repertoire of music to choose from. The band really played a LOT of music for the time they were there, one song blended into the next. I loved the way Patrick had his female vocalists check in on us while we were getting ready. My Mom and I felt reassured that there was one less thing for us to worry about. We thought we were just hiring a band, but what we experienced was so much more. All the details they manage, allowed us to eventually relax and enjoy the ride. If you want an amazing band for a celebration that everyone will remember, look no further. We would hire them again, no doubt!

We hired Green Thirteen for our wedding this past weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better band! As a bride with so many things to juggle, Patrick was with me throughout the planning process and kept me organized!! He responded to our emails within minutes!! As most brides will attest, life doesn't stop just because you're planning a wedding so whatever makes the process stress free is highly welcomed. Since day one, his interpersonal connection with my now-husband and myself was excellent. We knew we were in good hands from the moment we first met and that feeling never changed!! We were concerned about the space at our venue, so we assembled a large band that provided us with the sound and look we were hoping for. The bands performance range is almost limitless and they learn new songs for you as needed. The wedding day arrived. Patrick kept things on cue and always made it so comfortable. I didn't need to worry at all. Ultimately, it was about the music and no disappointment here. Music for all ages, they even had our seniors sweating! They made our wedding something to remember. We were able to select our playlist from a huge list of songs in addition to having his band learn a couple of new songs, including one for our first dance which they played perfectly. They have the ability to play several different genres (young to the old) so everyone was able to get into the groove on the dance floor. Patrick did a remarkable job managing the tempo of the evening from the first song to the last. He was also the announcer and knew how to work the crowd. Every single one of our guests complimented the band on how good they were. They knew when to keep it going and when to tone it down. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking for an amazing band!

When we think back to our wedding we can't help but reminisce about how much fun it was. For our wedding, my husband really wanted live music and I really wanted music we could dance to. We knew it would be challenging to find the right band, so we contacted over 15 bands, narrowed our search to about 3, and then went and heard them all play. Green Thirteen had the best vibe for us. Patrick is such a cool guy, genuine and down-to-earth, and at the same time very professional. He was a breeze to deal with. We first met over lunch and he really took the time to listen to what we wanted, how we envisioned our wedding, and really dug into what type of music my wife and I were into. Patrick worked with us to narrow down what we were interested in hearing. He was awesome about making sure songs we really wanted were included, and was totally chill about filling in the blanks when we were so overwhelmed by the wedding planning process and didn't want to make any more decisions! When the day came, we were blown away by the whole evening. The band rocked it, played their hearts out, had our guests dancing the whole time, and, quite simply, made our night! They did the music for the ceremony, cocktail time and reception. Patrick was so amazing to work with and met with us twice before our wedding to make sure we were 100% confident. Our cocktail hour music helped set the tone for the rest of the night. At the reception Patrick was our MC and was perfect to help keep the event on track and make sure the right music was being played depending on what was going on at the event. WE LOVED THE MUSIC SELECTIONS! Amazing music and great band members! If there is one thing you can do to make your wedding memorable this would be it. Thank you for making our night amazing!

Patrick I wanted to let you know how FABULOUS Green Thirteen was and how you made our wedding a hit!! You're caring, attention and professionalism to our specific details was amazing and did not go unnoticed. Everyone remarked on how great the band is. I can't give you all enough praise on how happy we are. There is an art to music and entertainment for a wedding, you are so right. You should write that book! For those reading this, Patrick knows the importance of timing and flow for a wedding. They are experts at reading the crowd, and packing the dance floor, even with some seemingly “non dancing” people. If you are looking for a wedding band and would like to sleep better at night, you have to get Green Thirteen on your team. Electric, modern, and brilliant! Patrick went over details on how to create the perfect pacing with elegance and then transition into a “fun” dance atmosphere that didn't feel like a standard cookie cutter wedding schedule. He put our nerves at rest rehearsing and making my kind of quirky daughter/father dance song easy for us. We had some weather challenges and the band was kind and ready to help at a moments notice. The girls were a blessing. Everyone is still buzzing and talking about the music. Again, we really appreciate all of your assistance and the encores. One of my favorite pictures is us raised in the middle of the floor surrounded by the guests holding their hands in the air. What a memory! The old cliche is true...the only thing your guests really remember about a wedding is the entertainment. Your choice of food and ice sculptures will soon be forgotten, but an entertaining band will be remembered for years. My wife and I were married in March of this year. We spent months planning and prepping for the day and after seeing Green Thirteen perform at a showcase in a small bar, we knew they were going to be the hit of our wedding. They were willing to go beyond all my expectations to make our day special. Pat checked in all the time, and helped us pick out the perfect music for all the dances, and gave great suggestions on what typically works best. He also had no reservations to any songs that we chose, and was open to letting us have all the choices for the special day that we wanted. Green Thirteen took care of everything. Pat introduced our wedding party and also convinced my wife and I to play the drums. They had the dance floor jumping all night long and did a great job hosting the event. Even though our event was on the smaller side, the reception never lagged. This band is beyond friendly and professional, and just a real down to earth group. Everyone was talking about how good the band was the next morning! Wonderful band, especially for older guests

We LOVE Green Thirteen! When it came time to choose entertainment for my wedding, we were a bit concerned in general because we knew our guests were not dancers. We wanted to make sure all of our guests had fun dancing, but we knew that a big band with a lot of action and interplay would be better for us than a dj. Green Thirteen definitely made it happen! If you want to have the best party of your life they are just perfect. They fill the space with energy and enthusiasm and read the crowd. The people who aren't dancers and who normally sit awkwardly at their table were on the dance floor until the last dance. We had to make some last minute changes and Patrick was very professional and didn't make us feel bad at all. We had a worry free evening and a blast dancing at our wedding. I would recommend Green Thirteen to anyone who is getting married. Awesome day, we couldn't be happier!

Words can't express our gratitude to Patrick and everyone in Green Thirteen for making it the most amazing wedding we could imagine. Our first band reassured us that they had insurance and a week before our wedding our hall declined them for insufficient coverage. Our hall recommended Patrick immediately and he essentially re-planned our reception in 3 days! He was helpful and fun and very patient as I asked my million questions. They catered to our every need. You name it, they did it, and did it well. All the vocalists were amazing. Patrick and the band were all about "showing our guests a good time", we couldn't have asked for more. Our dance floor was full of people all night long. We couldn't imagine the band being this excellent. The night was perfect and the band rocked everyone's socks off! The best pictures from the wedding are people going crazy on the dance floor. If you are considering a band, look no further because Green Thirteen is TERRIFIC! We chose and planned a very non traditional wedding. Our ceremony was kept to a minimum, and the main focus was on partying and having fun with our family and friends. Our wedding was a blast. Weeks after the wedding people are still talking about how awesome the band was. Lady Gaga to Louis Jordan!!! Patrick was our contact and he was always very accessible and over accommodating. He met with us several times and helped address many of our concerns that developed over time. We can't say enough great things about them. Fantastic to work with and warm hearted individuals. Green Thirteen - Not your typical wedding band!!

We were introduced to this group by our planner. We saw them perform at the Rookery in Chicago, when we heard a few songs we were sold. Patrick met us and presented everything they offered in a very relaxed dinner meeting. We felt that entertainment at the wedding was a very important part of the experience, and he worked with us to bring everything together. They sing the newest music available and do a really great job at it. They all looked GREAT!!! Not your typical wedding band here. From the moment we arrived they totally set the mood for all my guests to have a good time. In our opinion the songs they sang were better than the original. Patrick introduced all of our events and speakers really well. They definitely know how to do weddings! Trust them. Patrick was even kind enough to include live piano music for my cocktail hour because we offered to include dinner for the band, a great trade off. We were so happy with everything they offered. Would highly recommend over & over!

The BEST Mix Of Music

My parents hired Green Thirteen for my sisters wedding. At the time my husband and I knew when the time came we wanted them included in our day. When the day arrived, I spoke to my father and we reached out to Patrick. He answered all of our questions, and met with us long before we even looked at a contract. He is always present to answer emails and phone calls no matter what time of the day or night. We chose the larger band with the saxophone musician and more singers than my sister had. They also learned songs that we requested that were not on their extensive song list. On the day of the wedding, the band sounded better than ever and kept everyone on the dance floor just as we expected. We chose some of the same music, and also requested a lot of current hits. Super fun, not too loud for the relatives, just a great mix that had everyone dancing all night. They all did a superior job!

Green Thirteen did everything that you could imagine for our wedding. They did the ceremony music and outdoor speakers (in the middle of a golf course with no electricity), our cocktail hour, all the live music that we needed, our special lighting, and all of our scheduling. We danced all night, the performers were professional and they all sounded terrific. In the planning stage, Patrick was especially nice to work with and open to all our details. He knows that your wedding is about you. He took care of all our details, so we could relax and have the time of our life! One piece of advice that we can give is this...a three hour dance party goes by in a flash when the band does not take a break!! We can't say enough good things Green Thirteen. Well worth the investment. Great wedding band.

Green Thirteen traveled all the way from Chicago to Traverse City, Michigan for our wedding day, and truly exceeded all of our expectations! Their high energy set sounded amazing and kept our guests of all ages on the dance-floor until the very end of the evening. Green Thirteen completely blew us away. For starters, Patrick works with you to refine the song lineup and style of your ceremony, cocktail, dinner and reception. We really felt he got a sense of our personalitys in our meetings with him. He has the experience to combine all thestandard "crowd pleasers" and an appropriate number of all genres to appeal to the guests. The 5 vocalists were INCREDIBLE. I lost count of compliments we received. If your anything like me, the last thing that you'd think about when considering music for your reception is the order of events that happen. Not a problem! Since Patrick becomes your MC, planner and coordinator for the night you can't put a price tag on this. He helped us create a great flow, balancing all the important events (speeches, dinner, cake cutting, etc) with dance floor momentum and general room energy. He is passionate about the psychology behind how people feel at different times of your day. He was right on! I won't give away Patricks philosophy, but he has packing the dance floor down to a science! Seriously! Great job!

Hire this band! Every single person in the room was on the dance floor and I truly felt like I was at a concert watching the band play. They were upbeat, fun, energetic, and truly amazing to work with. It was such a pleasure working with Patrick. He was professional and extremely detailed oriented. We felt very confident early on that our day was in his hands. Both our event designer and our caterer commented that they had never seen so many people dancing for so long. My husband and I never once sat down, and my mother and father were shocked that all of their friends danced til the end. My father in law expected the older guests to leave after dinner, but the majority stayed until the end. I think it is true testament to the talent of Green Thirteen.

Green Thirteen was an AMAZING band. Words cannot describe what they added to our reception. All our guests raved about the non-stop band, and they thoroughly enjoyed our wedding reception because of Green Thirteen. The band learned the songs that we asked, and they played all of our requests. The manager at our venue also told us that he had not heard a band this good play at their venue, ever. To me, that was a huge compliment. As a bride, all I wanted was a continuous dance party, and thats what we got with Green Thirteen. throughout the reception. GREAT BAND PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS
In planning our reception we were looking for four things from the band: Great product - the quality of their sound and presentation needed to be top tier. High energy - ability to get the dance floor full and keep it that way the entire night. Ability to operate independently - as busy professionals planning a wedding we wanted a band that we could give high level direction to and they take care of the rest with limited additional input from us. Good value - The mix of total cost versus band pieces and options included needed to be optimal. In all four of these areas, Green Thirteen exceeded expectations. Their sound & presentation were a cut above the other bands we saw when looking at options and have seen at other weddings. For a 130 person wedding to have a full dance floor for 3 straight hours (they took no breaks, a surefire momentum killer!) is very difficult to do. We had one meeting with Patrick to provide direction and hardly talked to him again until the start of the reception. He was organized, asked the right questions and most importantly got everything right. The total cost was slightly below quotes we received from other bands and more pieces and lighting were included. Two examples illustrate the difference between Green Thirteen and other bands: When researching bands, we saw them play at a suburban Chicago bar with less than ideal demographics for us to compare. Our wedding was primarily mid 30 year olds, this bar was older. The bar was rocking. After 2 songs it was clear this is one of the best cover bands we have seen. Other bands we saw had better settings yet markedly less energy in the crowd. At the reception, guests that don't dance were dancing and afterwards unprompted feedback from everyone was glowing. That just doesn't happen unless the band killed it. We have and will continue to highly recommend Green Thirteen to others. Thank you Patrick, great job!

We first saw the reviews on theknot.com and went to see them at a usually sleepy bar in the suburbs...they were the best band I had seen live! They really got the party going! And on the wedding day, they did exactly the same thing!
The head of the band, Patrick, was a dream to work with. He was extremely responsive from the moment I contacted him and he was more than helpful in planning AND in making the day a success. Everyone is saying that they were the best wedding band they had ever seen...and it is true! They never took a break in 3 hours! At the end of the night, when people were getting tired, the band members joined us on the dance floor to sing and dance with us! IT was AMAZING!!! Details before the wedding: Patrick meets with you to help understand exactly what you want and what you want your vibe to be...and then he makes it happen flawlessly. I felt like I could not worry about the party at all, because he would make it happen (such a relief!) On the wedding day, Patrick checked in with me several times to make sure everything was in order and going according well...and he even helped us practice our first dance and gave us feedback! Ok, so pretty much this was the best money spent on the wedding. It made the party a huge success. And even people who weren't at the wedding are asking me "about that band at your wedding..." Yes, they are legendary! Best money spent!

GREAT PARTY!
We chose Green Thirteen to be our wedding band after my now husband spent hours talking to probably 20 different bands. After talking with Patrick and watching some example videos, we felt pretty confident that Green Thirteen was just what we were looking for - FUN! Im a groom who recently was married in aug 2014. We always knew we wanted a band but had a hard time finding one. We stumbled upon Green Thirteen at a street fest in Chicago. We both knew that was the type of band we wanted at our wedding. We emailed them the next day to see if they do weddings and were pleasantly surprised that weddings was their specialty. We set up a meeting with Patrick and he brought the energy we were looking for and the organization we needed. Patrick did a great job dj the wedding and the band was unbelievable. THE TOTAL PACKAGE!!
So, as the groom (28 years old), I'm supposed to write an unbiased review. I think that's a slightly unfair request as I, and all our guests, owe a lifetime of memories to Patrick and Green Thirteen and their ability to make a group ranging from 21-74 year olds be on the dance floor for THREE straight hours. Seriously, how can I make this fair to any other band you might be considering? Conclusion: I won't. From 2 months leading up to the wedding up until the very end, Patrick was there with us. When we first spoke and let him know we were having an intercultural (Swedish/American) barn wedding, we figured it would cause some problems. Nope. Patrick never thought twice. His excitement and energy in making sure we got everything we wanted gave us a sense that, regardless of how insane everything else was during planning, this major part of the wedding was 100% in control. Patrick arrived hours early to get everything set up at the barn. He was in constant contact with us and our "planners" (bridesmaids). He set up a remote sound system for our ceremony, and even had a couple of his band members accompany two singers we had during the ceremony. He also took care of our ceremonial march, and post-ceremony cocktail hour. Without him, it would not have been half as perfect. Timing, music quality, and overall professionalism created an amazing ambiance. Now Swedish people love to talk (we had 16 speeches throughout dinner), but Patrick was there for the toastmasters (MCs) providing entrance music for each speaker, and setting an atmosphere that had people up and dancing at their tables in the middle of eating!! Now, we are finally to the actual performance. With a decent-sized band, performing in a barn in a rural setting for around 80 people starting at 11 pm, one would assume that just a bit of energy might be left to the side, right? I think by this point, you know the answer. As I mentioned above, the band performed the ENTIRE time. No breaks. No silence at any point. Song after song after song. And what did all of our guests do? They danced. And sang. And laughed. The dance floor was never empty. This was due to the high energy music to start, combined with the ability to get a feel for the type of music that everyone wanted without even having to ask! When my 72-year-old grandfather is up and dancing at 1 am next to my 21-year-old brother, I can safely say that EVERYONE enjoyed the music. It was just about the best mix of old favorites and current hits, performed like a true concert. Even after the set was done, Patrick didn't stop. He stayed and DJ'ed until the last person left at 4 am. He never once dropped in his energy or professionalism. Always ensuring that he had it all under control and for us to just enjoy ourselves. HE was there for US! If you have skipped any of my long-winded rambling, I don't blame you. You can see that he took care of EVERYTHING, so I wanted to identify each and every one. As a summation, here is the main point: If you want to have a good time, you can choose any live band. BUT, if you want to make your wedding/reception/party something that people will talk about for the next 20 years as one of the best nights they've ever had, all while being able to relax and enjoy it yourself, choose Patrick and Green Thirteen.

BEST. NIGHT. EVER.
Green Thirteen truly achieved the "party" vibe we wanted our guests to feel on our wedding day. We had a surprise reveal of the band and from the moment the curtains opened, our guests never left the dance floor. They took all of our requests and music tastes into consideration and really rocked out! They made it extra personal for me by allowing me to sing my all time favorite song on stage with them. BEST WEDDING BAND EVER!
This is the easiest review to write because this band truly was such a huge part of the wedding. Not only did they sound amazing and play ALL the right songs, they interacted with the crowd. Not in an intrusive way, but in a way in which you couldn't help but get up and dance, sing along with them when they pointed the microphone at you, and when they brought the bride and groom up on stage to sing and eventually, crowd surf. They were so great. You could tell they really got to know what the bride and groom wanted, and I've been to millions of weddings so I know how important that piece is to the overall experience. EXCELLENT BAND, GREAT EXPERIENCE!!
Patrick and the Green Thirteen Band were fantastic from start to finish. They play great music of all genres for all ages, and they have wonderful stage presence. Our guests were on the dance floor all night long, and everyone raved about the band! No joke, our wedding turned into a rock concert with everyone from my grandma, to our flower girl partying for several hours straight. Beyond the music, Patrick was great to work with pre-wedding. He was meticulous with the song selections and details we requested for our reception, and truly brought the entire package of entertainment/master of ceremonies we needed at our wedding. He was professional and always available to answer questions leading up to the wedding. The wedding planning process is daunting, draining, and demanding... at times it really sucked. Patrick and his band were more than we could have hoped for. We had advanced talks with numerous bands and he was a breath of fresh air with his preparation, organization, and professionalism.
We made a ton of changes to our requested song list and timeline very close to the wedding and he incorporated all of them without a problem and without a hitch on our day of. He was so helpful on the day of the wedding and took care of EVERYTHING for us, which was such a relief. He made changes on the fly the day of as well to change our timeline to adjust for the lateness of our caterer/food - which made the evening even better. The band itself never took a break for 3 hours and played every song we asked for. They filled a super large reception hall and kept the dance floor all night with all our guests. Green 13 was one of the best parts of my wedding! Patrick was a pleasure to work with and did an amazing job staying in constant communication with me so the wedding day would go perfect...and it did! He was professional while staying light hearted and working with me every moment up until the big day. On the wedding day everything went flawless from the DJ'd ceremony to the live band set. We paid for an extra hour of live band (4 hours total) plus a saxophone player and it was beyond worth it! The band rocked the crowd all the way to the end and we have been hearing rave reviews ever since! HERO OF THE DAY!!!
Patrick and his band was the highlight of our reception. Our guests to this day still comment on how great Green Thirteen was. His preparation, organization, and availability made the planning process so stress free. If it wasn't for his great attention to detail, me and my wife would have been truly unprepared and I feel that he cared for our reception to be a true success. Our reception was at Cafe Brauer in December. By chance the weather ended up being a beautiful 51 degree day in the middle of winter. It was a blessing, yet the warm weather also brought this unholy traffic in Chicago the likes of which god has never seen!!! About 3/4 of our guests were late and Patrick made the offer to delay the start until everyone arrived and continued the cocktail hour to keep the guests that were there at ease. That offer hit home for me as any other "band" would have kept to the timeline or charge extra, etc.. What I love about Patrick and Green Thirteen is their ability to adapt on the fly without any hesitation. I would highly recommend them for their professionalism and more importantly the ability to exceed ones expectations. They truly were the icing on our wedding cake!!! BOOK THIS BAND TODAY!!!!
My husband and I checked out a ton of bands when we were planning our wedding and without a doubt, we chose the absolute best band in Green Thirteen! From our first email exchange until the end of our wedding night, Patrick and the band continued to impress us. They were quick to respond (often within a few hours), super prompt (arriving hours before our on site ceremony to avoid testing speakers/setting up while guests were present), adaptive (letting us change our on song choices the day before), knowledgeable on all aspects of the wedding process (acting not only as our band, but also as our event planner & emcee) and an awesome band that kept the night running smoothly and our guests dancing all night! Our guests are still raving about how much fun the band was and how they appealed to all ages! They even let our 4 year old ring bearer play the drums with the band all night :) Green Thirteen was one of our favorite parts of the wedding and we would definitely recommend this band to all brides and grooms!

GREEN 13 MAY 2014 WEDDING!!
Working with Patrick made the wedding day so much less stressful. Patrick met with us about 4 months before the wedding, he wanted to make sure he had the names and spelling along with the pronunciation of each member so that everything went off without a hitch. We were able to do most of the information through e-mail but Patrick really desires to get to know the bride and groom so that he can have more than a virtual knowledge of the couple. Patrick went out of his way to make sure we had the style of music throughout the night and he hit it spot on. Everyone was up dancing throughout the entire night and I must have had at least 20 different couple ask about the band. The band was engaged the entire time and the quality of the performance as well as the song choices kept the dance floor full for 3 hrs. We had people from 10 to 80 on the dance floor at the same time and all enjoyed the great music. My mother pointed out that one one time other than the initial songs (bride/groom, father/daughter & mother/son) were there less than 20 people on the dance floor. While other things around the night had little mishaps Patrick was right there making sure that we had everything we needed, he even went out of his way to help relax us with a drink when some things at the venue didn't go 100% as planned. He is an excellent person to work work and his desire to please his bride and groom didn't go unnoticed. Pick Patrick, you will be happy you did.

BEST INVESTMENT FOR YOUR WEDDING!!
So you are experiencing the joy of planning a wedding. I just got married May 31st 2014 & I feel your pain. Being the groom there wasn't a lot that I had a lot of say in while planning our wedding. I mean I had my input but really it was my job to make sure the bride to be got everything she wanted & with Green Thirteen she did & then some! Music has always been a big part of my life & My soon to be wife understood this & let me have the pleasure in picking out our entertainment. I say pleasure because with Green Thirteen it really was! Patrick is the amazing drummer & the man you want to talk to. We interviewed a few other bands before Green Thirteen & stopped as soon as we seen them perform & sat down with Patrick. My impression after speaking with him is that he is out to be the best band you can spend your money on and I & everyone at our wedding felt that they are the best wedding band/entertainment they have ever heard/seen.
Patrick has a ton of energy & will put you at easy how detailed he is. We meet with him a few times & he had our wedding events planned out to the min for us which helps tremendously. We didn't have a wedding planner & really you can save your money not having one & put that money into your entertainment fund because, with Patrick you really do not need one. We had a meeting with Patrick, our event coordinator & our Photographers a month before our wedding & they both thought he was our wedding planner. I had so much faith in him that I ended up having Green Thirteen take care of our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music & our reception & could not be happier. People will forget what your flowers look like, the color of your table linens & chair covers, they may even forget how good your food was. They will not forget how good your band was! We have people telling us all the time how much fun our wedding was, how great our band was, that we threw the best wedding/party that they have ever attended & have had people ask us if we can do it again, just so they can go back & have another night that was that much fun. Do yourself a favor & book this band!! You will only be sorry if you don't! After our wedding was over I felt like I wanted to be friends with Patrick & I wanted to throw a party just to have Green Thirteen perform for us again. My Wife doesn't know this yet, but I am going to make that last part happen! Patrick, if you are reading this don't forget to call us & let us know when you are performing around town. EXCELLENT PARTY BAND!
It's been a long time since I have experienced a live band at a wedding reception, and I was extremely impressed with the quality of service that Green Thirteen provided to the wedding dance. I don't think at first that I even realized how much work was being accomplished by the Green Thirteen team. They were providing live music during the hors d'ouevre hour and then the DJ service through the dinner. They were organized, efficient, and interested in making the day flow in exactly the way that the bride and groom wished.
As a musician myself, I was most impressed by the three straight hours that they provided music for the dance floor. Who has that kind of stamina nowadays?! I was amazed by their professionalism and energy. The band was all that most of us were talking about the next morning at the hotel breakfast, besides how happy the bride and groom were together. I hope that Green Thirteen's interaction with the kids helps to spark a desire to perform in them someday. Watching my friends' children bang away on those drums was a precious memory that I won't soon forget! Even when they were finished with their live performance, the DJ kept the dance floor hopping while the rest of the band struck down their instruments in a professional manner. If I was planning an event for a wedding (or even for prom since I am a high school teacher) I would not hesitate to book this band for my party. I believe that they fulfill on their promise of tailoring the event experience to your needs. I am astonished that there is a live music group out there who is willing to fit their clients' personalities and desires (for every group they service!) instead of simply pursuing their own musical preferences and interests. Book them, you won't be disappointed!

STOP LOOKING. BOOK THIS BAND. MOVE ON TO THE REST OF YOUR LIST!!!!
My husband and I were planning a wedding in 10 weeks. We found our vendors quickly, except the band. We met with lots of folks, and just couldn’t get a good vibe. I came across Patrick about 4 weeks before our wedding; he emailed me back within 5 minutes of writing him. After exchanging about a dozen emails in about an hour, it was clear that he was a fun, personable, passionate, responsible band leader. We booked him! (And were excited when, the next morning, we had multiple emails from other bands saying, “We are booked on your date but you should try GREEN THIRTEEN because they are amazing!”.) Next up, we met up and had a long conversation where it was clear that Patrick was trying to get a sense of who we are as a couple, our personality, our interests. Patrick was never in a hurry in this meeting, rather, it felt like he would have sat there with us for as many hours as it took to get all the information he needed, from logistics to how to pronounce the bridal party’s names. (Their pre-meeting planning packet is awesome!!! They’re the only band I talked to who had something like that, and it just shows how organized they are.) Next Patrick created an amazing, detailed timeline, minute by minute, of the evening. For someone like me who plans events and is highly organized, this was awesome. I realized that I could let go of some of the control I knew I’d be trying to have (as a producer, I can’t help myself!) on that night. And sure enough, it was true. I totally trusted in Patrick to hit all the beats, speeches, special dances, etc, that we had talked about. He didn’t miss a thing. Not only did he do everything that we had talked about, he did MORE. We had a small wedding, about 80 people. One of the things we hadn’t thought about in terms of having a small wedding is that sometimes the dance floor can look EMPTY. When you have 250 people, it’s always full (if the band is good!) and if a dozen or so people take off early, it’s no big deal. We had an older crowd, and people did leave early to get home to babysitters. And I was a bit freaked out that people were leaving and that not enough people would dance. But… the music came on, and it was so good, that everyone who was still there was out on that dance floor. Now, here comes the amazing part: in the back of my mind, I knew that when the band was going to take their ONE scheduled break (most bands I talked to take at least two, and sometimes three or four) that we would probably lose a bunch of people who would stop, maybe even go home, and the second set would be pretty empty (and sad!). I was so happy when the minutes passed by and the band kept playing, because I was dreading them breaking and people heading home. But… an hour went by, a second hour went by, more time went by and I realized… THEY WERE NOT STOPPING! I leaned in to my husband and said, “Patrick knows that if he takes a break, we’re going to lose the rest of our party goers. From the beginning, Green Thirteen did a great job planning for our wedding reception. Patrick responded within minutes to all of our emails and text messages. They knew exactly what information they would need to make our wedding reception run smoothly and made the whole process very easy. After all of the planning was done, Green Thirteen did a fantastic job managing every aspect of our wedding reception. They practically doubled as wedding planners, handling everything from playing music during the cocktail hour, emceeing the wedding reception events, and of course, playing music. Green Thirteen's music was fantastic. They have enough members to play just about anything we could have wanted, and they did just that. They even let some of our younger family members rock out with them on stage! Green Thirteen also did a great job appealing to all audiences, young and old. We were concerned that a live band may be too loud for some of our more senior guests, but this ended up not being a problem at all. All of our guests had great things to say about Green Thirteen! It was a pleasure working with Patrick and Green Thirteen. We would highly recommend them!

FANTASTIC WEDDING BAND!
My husband and I had Green Thirteen at our wedding on 10/12/13 and they were great! They made the whole reception atmosphere absolutely perfect and were more than I expected. They were fantastic, professional, and got everyone involved. A lot of times it is hard to find a great band but my husband and I couldn't be happier to have found Green Thirteen! They were like our own personal wedding planner from the very beginning. They helped with a secret dance from my dad and I and even have a whole packet to fill out with any and all requests you could ask for! They were great and so many people are now asking us about them and we were happy to give them their info. You would be making a huge mistake if you didn't get Green Thirteen for your wedding. They play top hits and all the songs you could ever imagine. They were perfect.

THE BEST BAND EVER!!!
By far the best band! When I called for the first time I got an answer RIGHT AWAY. Patrick greeted me and gave me a few details. He told me he would send me an e-mail in about 15 minutes with package deals and some up coming show dates for us to attend to check them out. Sure enough I received an e-mail immediately as promised. It was already the best experience I had with contacting a band for the wedding compared to others I had contacted. Patrick/Green Thirteen was always quick to get back to us whether it was a call...text...or sending documents via email. They were friendly and affordable. They did an awesome job keeping all of our detailed paperwork, contract, timeline and everything organized. They were beyond willing to work with us and personalize every bit of the wedding reception. Patrick and one of the other guys came out to my town to meet with us to confirm all of the details. They were so flexible as far as picking a place to meet and a time that fit our schedule. I loved that they had so many package options and each one could be personalized to fit our personalities and needs for the wedding. They are great!!!!

Green Thirteen was such an awesome group to work with for my wedding. I was highly impressed with the quick responses via e-mail, texts and phone calls. They even invited us to come out to a show before we made any decisions. Patrick is the guy that we communicated with and he made sure everything was detailed and personalized for our wedding! They made having a band at our wedding so easy! Any possible question we could think of was answered! Patrick and one of the other band members even met with us a few weeks before our wedding to go thru the detailed time line, song lists, etc. They actually met us at a restaurant near us so that it was more convenient for us! They were affordable, reliable, dependable, personable and overall just AWESOME! I was at ease for my wedding knowing that I was personally able to sit down with them to confirm all of the details that had been set! AMAZING-EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS!!!
Green Thirteen was the absolute best part of our wedding. As an obsessive bride wanting everything to be in its place and go just right, Patrick was a Godsend: professional, personable, accommodating, and ORGANIZED! I did not worry for a second about the flow of the evening...and it went absolutely perfectly. Patrick took care of everything to my total satisfaction. Honestly, guests will forget what the flowers looked like or what type of tie you had on the chair bows. They will NOT forget how much fun they had at your wedding. During the dancing between courses, my family told me they wanted to totally skip the rest of the courses, not eat, and just dance. EVERYONE was on the dance floor having a blast, and Patrick even came out in the middle of the dance floor and sang with all my guest- and a blast for everyone. If there was one piece of advice I would give to another bride, it would be to hire Green Thirteen. There is NOT another band with as much talent or energy or GUARANTEE to make your wedding night the time of your life.

EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR!
Green Thirteen was exactly the entertainment that my wife and I were looking for; a good live band that could blend both "classic" wedding songs along side modern hits. They are anything but your average "bar cover band". Green Thirteen was a very professional band with professional gear and a polished and tight sound. They were able to reproduce the sounds of many hit songs so well, that you would swear you were listening to the actual artist live. MOST FUN I EVER HAD IN 1 NIGHT!
I have absolutely no reservations in my recommendation of Green Thirteen (GT). As the groom, I was really willing to let my wife plan the wedding just the way she wanted it - but when it came to the band, I wanted to be sure we had an awesome band that would make our night just over the top. GT was that band. First, they were very good at communicating with us, giving suggestions, and making sure that every detail was planned. They even coordinated with the event coordinator at the country club we had the reception at. This really put us at ease - especially my wife. Besides the ubeleiveable extra attention they showed to the planning of the reception, their music was awesome. They made songs that I was never all that crazy about sound awesome and people were on the dance floor literally all night - no exaggeration. It was a very young wedding (most guests in their mid 20's to early 50's) but they did a good job of alienating no one. The music selection was outstanding and they were sure to include songs we specicially wanted (or leave out ones we did not). This was honestly the most fun I've ever had...I'm sure much of it was because it was my wedding, but I could tell people loved being there and the band made the atmosphere that much better. Our friends and family still make comments to us about how much fun it was and how great Green Thirteen was. Thank you to Patrick and all of Green Thirteen for all of their efforts....you all did an amazing job and exceeded our expectations.

GREEN THIRTEEN ROCKS THE HOUSE!
Of all the venues and service providers we worked with to plan our wedding, Green Thirteen was the absolute best. Since this was the first marriage for my bride and myself (and hopefully the last), we were looking for guidance from all the wedding service providers we met with. Green Thirteen stood out as the absolute best at coaching and advice. Patrick knew exactly how to walk us through our reception, provide us guidance and advice, and tailor it to fit our desires. We even had an emergency last minute change to the flow and Green Thirteen was able to adjust on the fly. They are very flexible with letting us have input to the song list but we had so much faith in him at that point, we told him to play whater they thought the crowd wanted to hear, and they did not disappoint.... then the reception rolled around, and Green Thirteen put on a show for the ages! Everything was perfectly orchestrated and the music and performance was lights out. Not only did they sound great and have everybody dancing, they looked great too! Nothing like a cool lookin' front man in shades anchored on each side with a hottie in her little black dress. I've never seen my 17-year old nephew dance so much so he could be right up front (LOL!). We have some great pictures of the singers holding out the microphones to a circle of my nieces who were singing and another of our Flower Girl hitting the cymbals. They are absolutely priceless. Green Thirteen is the best gig in town and provided great value at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend you meet with them if you are hiring a band. You will not be disappointed.

THE FOCUS OF OUR WEDDING!
We were very pleased with Green Thirteen! The band was our main focus and they definitely made our day special. Patrick was always easy to talk to, he organized everything and got all the details for our day. Rob was awesome the day of. He announced everything from the wedding procession to the speeches. It was nice not having to worry about things moving smoothly. We had them a total of six hours; starting from the procession until 12 a.m. Three hours of live play & one hour of DJ. We gave them a list of songs both live and pre-recorded we wanted to hear. Since it was our wedding, we didn't get to enjoy the band as much as we would have liked to(walking around and talking to guests). We know they played songs we asked to hear and I'm sure we would have gotten more played we wanted, but there was an issue with the venue and we were shorted 30-45 minutes of music. Our guests loved the band! They had great energy & sounded amazing. Our overall vision for the reception was exactly what we got as far as the band goes. I still hear how great the music was and how much fun the night turned out. They were great to work with and took care of our day. I would definitely recommend this band.

GREEN THIRTEEN IS AMAZING!!!
Book them, book them, book them. They are just a perfect addition to any wedding. The whole band is obviously very impressive musically, but they are also very versatile and willing to work with you to add whatever you want/need. Also, Patrick Doody from the band is an amazing asset to have. He's been to more weddings than me (and probably you) and so he has a really good sense of how it should go--he helped coordinate dinner times, entrance times, etc. between us and all of the other vendors and honest to God, it was SO HELPFUL. For sure, we would have muddled through without him, but things just went so smoothly with him. We got so many great compliments on the band--everyone loved them and thought it added a "little something extra" to our wedding. We would book them again in a millisecond!

FANTASTIC!
Patrick and the whole band were absolutely fantastic! They went above and beyond our expectations before our wedding and during. We met with Patrick twice to make sure everything was settled and ready to go with music choices for both the ceremony and reception. He even reached out to our coordinator at the venue so we did not have to play the middle man. During the wedding, everyone made sure we were comfortable along with our wedding party and parents. They even asked if we wanted our food warmed up since we were up and walking around during the whole meal service. Music could not have been better!!! We had the Green Thirteen play at our wedding in Naperville on July 6th, 2013 and they were a BLAST! We planned our wedding in 6 months & booked this group before ever seeing them live. We found them through the knot.com & listened to their music online and knew we had to book them for our wedding. We talked on the phone & via e-mail to figure out the best package for our wedding. We met with Patrick & he put our wish list together and basically planned our entire reception. His energy was contagious and great for a wedding with a young crowd. Their attention to detail was impeccable. The days & months leading up to the wedding we would email the group about various things & they were very timely in getting back to us. The day before the wedding we had a change in our bridal party & they were more than accommodating. The day of the wedding they coordinated the entire reception & kept us all on track. The music was high energy & so much fun. They engaged with us and had practically all of our guests on the dance floor the entire night. Speaking on our guests behalf - we've heard nothing but positive things about the Green Thirteen and their performance at our wedding. He met with us multiple times to go over the plan for our evening, and his attention to detail was marvelous. He helped time-out the entire reception and kept everything on track the night-of. He was so present and helpful that family members asked if he was our wedding planner. This is the kind of attention to customer service that makes Green Thirteen truly unique. As for the performance itself, we received numerous compliments from family and friends about how spectacular the band was, and we ourselves had an absolute blast. They tailored the style and tempo of the show to match our tastes and what we wanted for our party, and the result was a very fun mix of old and new songs that kept everyone glued to the dance floor. Patrick and the Green Thirteen Team were incredible! Not only was the music fun and high energy, but Patrick acted as a top notch emcee for our reception. He kept us on schedule (without rushing) as we arrived to the reception, paid close attention to us and our parents and assisting with anything we needed (even getting us drinks!) and also directed our guests to each portion of the evening. The band had an excellent sound system and wireless microphone which was very helpful during speeches. Patrick was always available for a phone conversation (since we were a few hours away from Chicago-unable to meet face to face prior)and really reassured me on how the day would go. The only thing I would recommend (for myself as well) is to put some thought into your song list to guide the band with so that they are able to tailor the music to your tastes. Despite me not doing that, I thought theyir music selection was still great. This band was totally worth the money. The energy you get from having a live band really makes the event. It is also definitely worth the money having someone like Patrick running your evening. I never had to worry about a thing.

MADE MY WEDDING!
Although I got married in Milwaukee, I interviewed bands from across the Chicago land area. We chose green thirteen and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. They were able to transition my elegant wedding into the best party of the year. Not only did they pack the dance floor for 4+ hours (everyone from grandparents to our young friends was out there), but they also managed to play all our favorites. Ever since our wedding in August friends and family have been constantly remarking about what a fantastic time they had at our wedding and how amazing our band was. Green thirteen made our wedding day! On another note as a typical OCD bride, green thirteen worked with me to plan every single detail of the reception timeline down to the minute. This ensured that our event flowed properly and that everyone was in the proper location at the right time. All aspects of having Green-thirteen perform at my daughter’s wedding worked out wonderfully! They were easy to deal with and talk to, and very open as to the song lists. Our venue was difficult… it was a barn for the reception, an orchard for the ceremony, and sound restrictions, and they worked with us closely and everything worked out great. By mid-evening, everybody who dances was dancing. And kept dancing! The vocalists were great and exuded a lot of energy. The instrumentation was smooth and very professional. They were reasonably priced, and I have already recommended them to friends whose children are getting married. There are no negatives for dealing with them. I would definitely use them for my next event.

A TOTAL PACKAGE!
My husband and I found Green Thirteen through a website online. From the start I knew we were a perfect fit. Patrick and everyone at Green Thirteen was immediately extremely helpful. We were able to secure the date of our wedding and meet with and listen to the the band perform just a few days later at a social function in Chicago. Patrick was extremely available throughout the whole planning process. He was accessible through email and phone and was very organized. He even gave me his cell phone number for the week prior to the wedding in case we had last minute changes. As a person with a slightly type A personality, I was thankful to have someone as equally conscientious of the small details. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Green Thirteen coordinated our reception and kept our timing on track. There was a 7 piece band that performed. My friends are still talking about how great the music was. I had aunts and uncles who always leave weddings early still out on the dance floor at midnight when the music stopped. Patrick even DJed an extra 20 minutes after the band was done to keep my guests happy. I think that Green Thirteen may have single-handedly made my wedding reception what it was, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

GREAT GROUP AND WILLING TO TRAVEL!!!
I cannot say enough about how great it was to work with the members of Green Thirteen for my wedding in June of 2012. They not only helped plan the order of events during the reception, but were there to make sure everything stayed on track and act as an MC for the evening. They were very flexible with timing and were willing to travel over 6+ hours with all the equipment to perform at our wedding a small town in Wisconsin where my wife and I first met. We cannot say enough about the them and wish them the greatest in the future as they made our day very enjoyable and stress free.

BEST BAND EVER!!!
We are so happy that my parents chose GreenThirteen to play at our wedding. They were a pleasure to work with from the beginning of our wedding planning to the final moments on the wedding night! AWESOME BAND!!
We are so happy we chose to use GreenThirteen at our wedding! They were a pleasure to work with from the beginning of our wedding planning to the final moments on the wedding night! They not only kept everyone dancing all night with their terrific music, but they also acted as a wedding coordinator for the day and made sure everything was going smoothly and that we are the bride and groom where happy and had everything we needed. It was a perfect night and we couldn't be happier with them :) Even now a couple weeks later we are still getting compliments on them!

AMAZING BAND!!!
I thought that Green 13 was amazing. They sound great and they get people on the dance floor. Rob and Patrick are great to work with. Patrick is especially detailed and organized and you can have a fun time at your wedding and not have to worry about what the band will do next. They really are amazing and affordable, which makes them even better. They play anything you want, but are good at the latest songs and hits.

FABULOUS BAND!!
All aspects of having Green-thirteen perform at my daughter’s wedding worked out wonderfully! They were easy to deal with and talk to, and very open as to the song lists. Our venue was difficult… it was a barn for the reception, an orchard for the ceremony, and sound restrictions, and they worked with us closely and everything worked out great. By mid-evening, everybody who dances was dancing. And kept dancing! The vocalists were great and exuded a lot of energy. The instrumentation was smooth and very professional. They were reasonably priced, and I have already recommended them to friends whose children are getting married. There are no negatives for dealing with them. I would definitely use them for my next event.

A TOTAL PACKAGE!
My husband and I found Green Thirteen through a website online. From the start I knew we were a perfect fit. Patrick and everyone at Green Thirteen was immediately extremely helpful. We were able to secure the date of our wedding and meet with and listen to the the band perform just a few days later at a social function in Chicago. Patrick was extremely available throughout the whole planning process. He was accessible through email and phone and was very organized. He even gave me his cell phone number for the week prior to the wedding in case we had last minute changes. As a person with a slightly type A personality, I was thankful to have someone as equally conscientious of the small details. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Green Thirteen coordinated our reception and kept our timing on track. There was a 7 piece band that performed. My friends are still talking about how great the music was. I had aunts and uncles who always leave weddings early still out on the dance floor at midnight when the music stopped. Patrick even DJ'd an extra 20 minutes after the band was done to keep my guests happy. I think that Green Thirteen may have single-handedly made my wedding reception what it was, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

FANTASTIC!
I could not have asked for a better band to play at our wedding reception this past May 2012. From the beginning, Green 13 impressed us with their service and care of us. They were there for us throughout the whole reception, regardless of what we needed. And when the dinner portion of the party went long, they offered to make up the lost time by playing their whole set without a single break! They were amazing. Every single guest was out on the dance floor. I got wonderful reviews from my guests, most saying that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Guests of all ages were enjoying their musical style and performing quality. They were sweet and accommodating during planning. I can't say enough about them - I would recommend them to anyone who is getting married, including my family and close friends!

BEST WEDDING EVER!
We hired Green Thirteen last spring for our daughters wedding , Nov. 5, 2011. From the moment we met them we knew everything would be handled and the night would be perfect--it was!
They have an unbelievable play list and they all make you feel that it's your very special party. They played to the crowd the entire night and the dance floor was packed at all times. I would have to say, they made the night. People came up to us all night and asked where we found the band, book them early, it will be the best decision you will make. Thank you so much Green Thirteen for making Mary and Brian's wedding one we all will never forget! I have a feeling we will see you again very soon.

A DREAM TO WORK WITH AND SO MUCH FUN!
We knew we wanted our wedding band to be able to play a blend of old (think parents and grandparents) and newer (for our friends!). Patrick and the Team at Green 13 were phenomenal and delivered! BOOK THIS AMAZING BAND!
My wedding was this past weekend, November 5th 2011. We had a wonderful day only made better by Green Thirteen. They were completely professional but also very fun! I cannot tell you how many compliments we received that night and the next day on how awesome the band was. Many of our guests mentioned they would travel to hear them play anywhere! The less you have to worry about on your wedding day the better and Green Thirteen took the guess work and stress out of everything. My husband and I want to get married again just to experience the band and the dancing again!

EXPECTATIONS FAR EXCEEDED!
Green Thirteen was everything we could have asked for and more from a wedding band. They played the exact genre of music we wanted, and the dance floor was filled all night. Our family and friends couldn't get enough and at times even I had to turn around and make sure the band was still playing because they sounded just like the real thing! Most of all, they were professional and accommodating, working tirelessly with us to compile a 'NY-style' affair. I would 100% positively recommend using Green Thirteen for any event you're planning. BOOK THIS BAND WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
Green Thirteen is a MUST for your wedding!!!! My husband and I love live music and searched for a band for months. We were so picky during the process but once we found Green Thirteen we knew we had to hire them. Patrick Doody and other members of the band are so easy to get in touch with, whether it's by phone or email, during any part of the planning. In the beginning, this band goes over every detail you could think of, and ones you don't, for your wedding night. They give you a packet to fill out about each part of the reception and Patrick will meet with you in person to go over everything before the wedding. They strive to make your wedding night exactly how you want it. Green Thirteen has an extremely long list of songs that they can perform live. We had such a variety of music: oldies, country, rock and roll, and new pop songs. The variety was so nice because it meant the world to me that they could play "I Loved Her First" while my dad and I danced. We were also so impressed that the band could play one type of music just as well as any other type of music. The best thing I can say about this band is that they will even accommodate special requests. To get such personal attention while planning a wedding was so important to us. Green Thirteen was generous enough to give my husband a night he will never forget! I asked if my husband could be called on stage, as a surprise, to play and sing "Every Rose" with the band. The band brought an extra guitar just for him, got him up on stage, and our friends and family thought my husband had planned the whole thing. He still talks about it to this day and the band could not have been more thrilled to do it! They also kept a great secret for me through the planning. Keep in mind they even get kids involved in the beginning of the reception and thrive off happiness. On our wedding video, we saw that they had let our two young nephews play their guitars, which made their entire night! All of the guests at our reception were blown away by Green Thirteen's talent. So many guests told us it was the best band they had ever encountered at a wedding. People old and young danced all night long. We have also told anyone in the area getting married or having a party that they have to hire Green Thirteen. Even the wedding planner and staff at the country club said they would love to see Green Thirteen perform at more weddings there and placed them on a band recommendation list for future brides and grooms.Trust me when I say this was the best decision we could have made to make our night one we will remember forever. We would absolutely use them again for a party or anniversary!

THE FABULOUS GREEN THIRTEEN!
Rob Lisak and the rest of Green 13 are amazing. They did such a fabulous job making my special occasion a most memorable one. I was especially impressed at how professional they were from beginning to end. Patrick patiently went over their extensive song list with me and not only did they play all the songs requested, they also learned a few new ones just for the party of which I'm forever grateful. On the day of, they came hours early to set up. By the time the guests arrived, the stage was ready looking beautiful especially with the lights. It was incredible how they paid attention to every detail and then some. They provided music for the cocktail hour and during dinner. Once the live music started, it was a matter of minutes before the guests were on the dance floor. People kept coming up to my husband and me telling us how great the band was. I couldn't agree more. I was one of those people who were on the dance floor for almost the entire time. My special occasion would not have been the same without the fabulous sounding Green 13. I would highly recommend them. My heartfelt thanks to Rob, Patrick, Michaele, Camille and Mike!

CHOOSE THIS BAND!
You want this band to play at your wedding. Not only are they the most professional, accommodating, and friendly group of people I have ever worked with, but they executed flawlessly the night of the wedding. And most importantly, everyone was on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG. I am still receiving compliments about how fun my wedding band was - I would recommend them to absolutely everyone. GREAT BAND!
We hired Green Thirteen for our daughters wedding last June. They coordinated the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music, and live dance set. Months before the ceremony they sat down with all of us to coordinate everything and helped us set up a timeline, which was very helpful.
The day of the wedding they were on site early setting everything up and we didn't have to worry about anything. Once they started playing everyone got up onthe dance floor and had a great time. They do a fantastic job on all of the songs they play and are one of the few bands that I have heard that can do so many of the newer dance songs. A lot of our guests came up to me and asked how we got such a great band. Plus, they were very professional and great to work with. I checked out numerous bands and I don't think you could find a better band for your Wedding!

HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!
This band was awesome! We hired their services for our wedding in Aug of 2010 & still have friends & family raving about them! The whole band was extremely kind & they were great to work with during the planning stages ahead of time- they really made it convenient to meet prior to the wedding. And come the day of the wedding, they were professional, friendly and most of all they kept the party rocking with high energy until 2am!!!!! Green Thirteen were also really accommodating when we asked if we could have a close friend join them to sing our first dance, even learning some new music ahead of time especially for the song.
I would recommend this band again in a second!

AMAZING!!
Green Thirteen was the band at my reception and they truly made my wedding unforgettable. Leading up to the wedding, they were very helpful with the planning - very relaxed yet very organized with awesome planning guides that explained everything. They were super friendly and accommodating throughout the whole process. As far as the reception...THEY ROCKED!! The music was amazing--several guests commented that they felt like they had gone to see an actual band play at a venue! They said, "I would buy tickets to see this band!!" The band was also super kid-friendly, allowing some of the younger guests come up and help them "play". Months after the wedding, I'm still getting compliments on Green Thirteen.

BRING YOUR DANCING SHOES!
I've never written an online review for anything...but WOW, do these guys (and girls!) deserve the stars! Our guests saw only the end product--and were blown away by the performance and energy G13 brought. We, however, had the pleasure of working with them every step of way and seeing what really goes into their work.
We initially became interested in G13 because of the breadth of their song list (something for everyone) and the fact that there were male and female singers. We had a blast the night we made a road trip to a show they were doing at a bar outside of Chicago, where Rob took the time between sets to chat with us about what we were looking for in a wedding band. This was followed by many phone calls and various e-mails, all of which were returned so quickly and with such personal attention that it made us feel like we were not just another wedding booking for them. Later in the process, Patrick met with us for several hours to plan our day. It was a back and forth process that continued until our wedding day and resulted in a minute by minute timeline filled with details that, on our own, we never would have even thought to address. We did not have a day-of coordinator and I have no doubt our wedding would not have gone nearly as smoothly without their organization--the timeline became the "blue print" for our wedding, which we were able to supply to the venue and various vendors. On the day of the wedding (they traveled to Sheboygan, WI--no extra charge!) they were on top of everything! Their set-up was just right--it looked like a great party without being the least bit tacky--great lighting, amazing sound and perfectly dressed for our occasion (a country club wedding somewhere between semi-formal and formal). They performed our first dance song (Make you feel my love) live--a decision that was made near the last minute, but which I wouldn't change for anything...it was beautiful! They also did all of the MC'ing throughout the night. When it came time to dance--well, they really got the crowd moving and sounded AMAZING! All of our requested songs were played and the songs they chose to "fill in" were spot on. In the end, I can say that choosing G13 for our event was definitely one of the best decisions that we made. We ended up asking for extra business cards because so many of our guests were so impressed and curious about the band. I would recommend this band to anyone that is looking for professional, extraordinarily talented and genuinely nice entertainers for their event.

GREAT PARTY :-)
Every bride and groom has to pick a certain "feel" that they want their wedding to have. We wanted ours to be a blast...best party of our lives :-) Green Thirteen made this happen. The music started at about 7:30 and every was on the dance floor by about 7:35. It was a great gift to see everyone having so much fun, including us. If I every have another big party, we'll hire Green Thirteen again!

A PLEASURE TO DO BUISNESS WITH!
These guys were great. Got so many comments from guests who thought so too. They are very professional, meet w/ you before hand to get a handle on understanding what you want & what you are going for. They truly are as anxious to please and make the event all that you want it to be as you are. Although we had a small wedding on a Sunday afternoon, they were successful in getting everyone out there & keeping them there. Patrick & Rob are truly a pleasure to work, leaving one less thing for you to have to think about on the day of your event. They truly did everything that they could to contribute to the success of our event. I would definitely use them again, without question. Bottom line they sounded great & knew what to play when. For the job they did, they were very fairly priced.

AWESOME PARTY!
Green Thirteen ROCKS!!! Everybody in the reception just had a blast! They were upbeat and full of energy from start to end!
